कोटि बिरक्त मध्य श्रुति कहई। सम्यक ग्यान सकृत कोउ लहई॥ ग्यानवंत कोटिक महँ कोऊ। जीवनमुक्त सकृत जग सोऊ॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
koṭi birakta madhya śruti kahī। samyaka gyāna sakṛta kou lahī॥ gyānavanta koṭika mahaṃ koū। jīvanmukta sakṛta jaga soū॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
The Vedas say that among millions of the detached, only one attains true knowledge. And among millions of the wise, only one is liberated while living. In the world, such a one is indeed rare.
