सोनित स्रवत सोह तन कारे। जनु कज्जल गिरि गेरु पनारे॥ बिकल बिलोकि भालु कपि धाए। बिहँसा जबहिं निकट कपि आए॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

sonita sravata soha tana kāre। janu kajjala giri geru panāre॥ bikala biloki bhālu kapi dhāe। bihaṃsā jabahiṃ nikaṭa kapi āe॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

With blood flowing from his dark body, he looked as if streams of red ochre were flowing from a mountain of lampblack. Seeing him in distress, the bears and monkeys rushed forward. As soon as they came near, he laughed.
