पुनि उठि झपटहिं सुर आराती। टरइ न कीस चरन एहि भाँती॥ पुरुष कुजोगी जिमि उरगारी। मोह बिटप नहिं सकहिं उपारी॥ ७ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

puni uṭhi jhapaṭahiṃ sura ārātī। ṭarai na kīsa carana ehi bhāṃtī॥ puruṣa kujogī jimi uragārī। moha biṭapa nahiṃ sakahiṃ upārī॥ 7 ॥

Meaning

[Kakabhushundiji says:] Those enemies of the gods (the demons) spring up again and rush forward. But O Garuda, enemy of serpents, the monkey's foot does not move from there, just as a misguided man cannot uproot the tree of delusion.
