पुनि कपि कही नीति बिधि नाना। मान न ताहि कालु निअराना॥ रिपु मद मथि प्रभु सुजसु सुनायो। यह कहि चल्यो बालि नृप जायो॥ ५ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
puni kapi kahī nīti bidhi nānā। māna na tāhi kālu niarānā॥ ripu mada mathi prabhu sujasu sunāyo। yaha kahi calyo bāli nṛpa jāyo॥ 5 ॥
Meaning
Again Angada spoke in many different ways of policy, but Ravana did not accept it, because his end was near. Crushing the enemy's pride, Angada praised the glory of Lord Rama, and then the son of King Bali departed, saying this.
