बार बार अस कहइ कृपाला। नहिं गजारि जसु बधें सृकाला॥ मन महुँ समुझि बचन प्रभु केरे। सहेउँ कठोर बचन सठ तेरे॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bāra bāra asa kahai kṛpālā। nahiṃ gajāri jasu badheṃ sṛkālā॥ mana mahuṃ samujhi bacana prabhu kere। saheuṃ kaṭhora bacana saṭha tere॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
The compassionate Lord Rama repeatedly says that a lion does not gain fame by killing a jackal. O fool, remembering the Lord's words in my heart, I have endured your harsh words.
