बाजहिं ताल मृदंग अनूपा। सोइ रव मधुर सुनहु सुरभूपा॥ प्रभु मुसुकान समुझि अभिमाना। चाप चढ़ाइ बान संधाना॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

bājahiṃ tāla mṛdaṃga anūpā। soi rava madhura sunahu surabhūpā॥ prabhu musukāna samujhi abhimānā। cāpa chaṛhāi bāna saṃdhānā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

O lord of the gods, listen: the unmatched beat of cymbals and drums is sounding. That is the same sweet [thunder-like] sound. Understanding Ravana's pride, the Lord smiled. He raised His bow and fitted the arrow to it.
