तासु बचन अति सियहि सोहाने। दरस लागि लोचन अकुलाने॥ चली अग्र करि प्रिय सखि सोई। प्रीति पुरातन लखइ न कोई॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

tāsu bachana ati siyahiṃ sohāne। darasa lāgi locana akulāne॥ calī agra kari priya sakhi soī। prīti purātana lakhai na koī॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

Her words were extremely pleasing to Sita, and her eyes longed to see them. Taking that dear companion in front, Sita went on. No one can perceive an ancient bond of love.
