सुभग सकल सुठि चंचल करनी। अय इव जरत धरत पग धरनी॥ नाना जाति न जाहिं बखाने। निदरि पवनु जनु चहत उड़ाने॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
subhaga sakala suthi caṃcala karanī। aya iva jarata dharata paga dharanī॥ nānā jāti na jāhiṃ bakhāne। nidarī pavanu janu cahata uḍāne॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
All the horses were exceedingly handsome and quick in gait. They placed their hooves on the earth as though on burning metal. They belonged to many breeds and could not be fully described. So swift were they that they seemed to scorn the wind and wish to fly.
