गिरा अलिनि मुख पंकज रोकी। प्रगट न लाज निसा अवलोकी॥ लोचन जलु रह लोचन कोना। जैसें परम कृपन कर सोना॥ १ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

girā alini mukha paṃkaja rokī। pragaṭa na lāja nisā avalokī॥ locana jalu raha locana konā। jaisẽ parama kṛpana kara sonā॥ 1 ॥

Meaning

The bee-like speech was restrained by the lotus of her face. Seeing the night of shame, it did not emerge. The water of her eyes remains at the corners of her eyes, just as a miser keeps his gold hidden in a corner.
