देखन बागु कुअँर दुइ आए। बय किसोर सब भाँति सुहाए॥ स्याम गौर किमि कहौं बखानी। गिरा अनयन नयन बिनु बानी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
dekhana bāgu kuaṃra dui āe। baya kisora saba bhāṃti suhāe॥ syāma gaura kimi kahauṃ bakhānī। girā anayana nayana binu bānī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Two princes have come to see the garden. They are in their youth and are charming in every way. One is dark-hued and the other fair; how can I describe their beauty? Speech is without eyes, and eyes are without speech.
