तिमिरु तरुन तरनिहि मकु गिलई। गगनु मगन मकु मेघहिं मिलई॥ गोपद जल बूड़हिं घटजोनी। सहज छमा बरु छाड़ै छोनी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
timiru taruna taranihi maku gilai। gaganu magana maku meghahiṃ milaī॥ gopada jala būḍahiṃ ghaṭajonī। sahaja chamā baru chāḍai chonī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Darkness may swallow the youthful midday sun. The sky may merge into the clouds. Even in a pool of water as small as a cow's footprint, the sea may drown, and the earth may abandon its natural forbearance.
