भरतहि होइ न राजमदु बिधि हरि हर पद पाइ। कबहुँ कि काँजी सीकरनि छीरसिंधु बिनसाइ॥ २३१ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
bharatahi hoi na rājamadu bidhi hari hara pada pāi। kabahuṃ ki kāñjī sīkarani khīrasindhu binasāi॥ 231 ॥
Meaning
[What need is there even to speak of Ayodhya's kingdom?] Even after attaining the stations of Brahma, Vishnu, and Mahadeva, Bharata cannot become proud of kingship! Can the ocean of milk ever be destroyed by drops of sour gruel?
