सरल सुभाउ राम महतारी। बोली बचन धीर धरि भारी॥ तात जाउँ बलि कीन्हेहु नीका। पितु आयसु सब धरमक टीका॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sarala subhāu rāma mahatārī। bolī bacana dhīra dhari bhārī॥ tāta jāuṃ bali kīnhehu nīkā। pitu āyasu saba dharamaka ṭīkā॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Rama's mother, simple in nature, spoke these words with great composure: 'Dear son, I am devoted to you; you have done well. Obedience to a father's command is the crown of all dharma.'
