राजु देन कहि दीन्ह बनु मोहि न सो दुख लेसु। तुम्ह बिनु भरतहि भूपतिहि प्रजहि प्रचंड कलेसु॥ ५५ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
rāju dena kahi dīnha banu mohi na so dukha lesu। tumha binu bharatahi bhūpatihi prajahi pracaṃḍa kalesu॥ 55 ॥
Meaning
He said he would give the kingdom, yet gave you the forest; I feel not the slightest sorrow for that. [My sorrow is that] without you, Bharata, the king, and the people will suffer terrible distress.
