राजु देन कहुँ सुभ दिन साधा। कहेउ जान बन केहिं अपराधा॥ तात सुनावहु मोहि निदानू। को दिनकर कुल भयउ कृसानू॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
rāju dena kahuṃ subha dina sādhā। kheu jāna bana kehiṃ aparādhā॥ tāta sunāvahu mohi nidānū। ko dinakara kula bhayu kr̥sānū॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
They had fixed an auspicious day for giving you the kingdom; then for what offense have they now sent you to the forest? Dear son, tell me the reason. Who has become the fire to burn the solar race?
