बिपति बीजु बरषा रितु चेरी। भुइँ भइ कुमति कैकई केरी॥ पाइ कपट जलु अंकुर जामा। बर दोउ दल दुख फल परिनामा॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

bipati bīju baraṣā ritu cerī। bhuīṃ bhai kumati kaikai kerī॥ pāi kapaṭa jalu aṃkura jāmā। bara dou dala dukha phala parināmā॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

Misfortune was the seed, the rainy season the maid, and Kaikeyi's evil mind became the ground. With the water of deceit, the sprout emerged. The two boons are its two leaves, and in the end its fruit will be sorrow.
