बड़भागी बनु अवध अभागी। जो रघुबंसतिलक तुम्ह त्यागी॥ जौं सुत कहौं संग मोहि लेहू। तुम्हरे हृदयँ होइ संदेहू॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
baḍabhāgī banu avadha abhāgī। jo raghubaṃsatilaka tumha tyāgī॥ jauṃ suta kahauṃ saṃga mohi lehū। tumhare hṛdayaṃ hoi saṃdehū॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
O ornament of the Raghu line, the forest is most fortunate, and Ayodhya is unfortunate, since you have abandoned it. Son, if I were to say, 'Take me along too,' doubt would arise in your heart [that I am using this as an excuse to stop you].
Context
