तब अति सोच भयउ मन मोरें। दुखी भयउँ बियोग प्रिय तोरें॥ सुंदर बन गिरि सरित तड़ागा। कौतुक देखत फिरउँ बेरागा॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
taba ati soca bhayau mana moreṃ। dukhī bhayauṃ biyoga priya toreṃ॥ suṃdara bana giri sarita taḍāgā। kautuka dekhat firauṃ berāgā॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
Then deep sorrow arose in my mind, and, O beloved, I became distressed by separation from you. In a spirit of detachment, I would wander about seeing the lovely forests, mountains, rivers, and ponds as curiosities.
