स्वारथ साँच जीव कहुँ एहा। मन क्रम बचन राम पद नेहा॥ सोइ पावन सोइ सुभग सरीरा। जो तनु पाइ भजिअ रघुबीरा॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
svāratha sāṃca jīva kahuṃ ehā। mana krama bacana rāma pada nehā॥ soi pāvana soi subhaga sarīrā। jo tanu pāi bhajiya raghubīrā॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
For a living being, the true gain is love for Rama’s feet in thought, word, and deed. That body alone is pure and beautiful in which one, having received it, worships Raghubir.
