सौभागिनीं बिभूषन हीना। बिधवन्ह के सिंगार नबीना॥ गुर सिष बधिर अंध का लेखा। एक न सुनइ एक नहिं देखा॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

saubhāginīṃ bibhūṣana hīnā। bidhavanha ke siṅgāra nabīnā॥ gura sisa badhira andha kā lekhā। eka na suni eka nahiṃ dekhā॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

Married women are without ornaments, while widows have ever-new adornments. The relation between guru and disciple is like that of a deaf person and a blind person: one does not hear, the other does not see.
