सब नर काम लोभ रत क्रोधी। देव बिप्र श्रुति संत बिरोधी॥ गुन मंदिर सुंदर पति त्यागी। भजहिं नारि पर पुरुष अभागी॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

saba nara kāma lobha rata krodhī। deva bipra shruti santa birodhī॥ guna maṃdira sundara pati tyāgī। bhajahiṃ nāri para puruṣa abhāgī॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

All men are devoted to lust and greed and are angry; they oppose the gods, Brahmins, the Vedas, and the saints. Unfortunate women abandon their handsome husbands, the abode of virtues, and turn to other men.
