निरुपम न उपमा आन राम समान रामु निगम कहै। जिमि कोटि सत खद्योत सम रबि कहत अति लघुता लहै॥ एहि भाँति निज निज मति बिलास मुनीस हरिहि बखानहीं। प्रभु भाव गाहक अति कृपाल सप्रेम सुनि सुख मानहीं॥
Transliteration (IAST)
nirupama na upamā āna rāma samāna rāmu nigama kahai। jimi koṭi sata khadyota sama rabi kahata ati laghutā lahai॥ ehi bhāṃti nija nija mati bilāsa munīsa harihi bakhānahīṃ। prabhu bhāva gāhaka ati kṛpāla saprema suni sukha mānahīṃ॥
Meaning
Lord Rama is incomparable; there is no other likeness to Him. The Vedas say that Rama alone is like Rama. Just as saying that the sun is like countless crores of fireflies only diminishes the greatness of the sun, in the same way the sages describe Hari according to the range of their own understanding. But the Lord is extremely compassionate and accepts the devotion in the heart. He listens to such praise with love and feels joy.
