निज सुख बिनु मन होइ कि थीरा। परस कि होइ बिहीन समीरा॥ कवनिउ सिद्धि कि बिनु बिस्वासा। बिनु हरि भजन न भव भय नासा॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
nija sukha binu mana hoi ki thīrā। parasa ki hoi bihīna samīrā॥ kavaniu siddhi ki binu bisvāsā। binu hari bhajana na bhava bhaya nāsā॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
Without one’s own inner bliss, how can the mind remain steady? Without the element of air, can there be touch? Can any accomplishment be attained without faith? Likewise, without devotion to Hari, the fear of worldly existence cannot be destroyed.
