नयन दोष जा कहँ जब होई। पीत बरन ससि कहुँ कह सोई॥ जब जेहि दिसि भ्रम होइ खगेसा। सो कह पच्छिम उयउ दिनेसा॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

nayana doṣa jā kahaṃ jaba hoī। pīta barana sasi kahuṃ kaha soī॥ jaba jehi disi bhrama hoi khagesā। so kaha pacchima uyau dinesā॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

When a person has a defect in the eyes, he sees the moon and says it is yellow. O king of birds, when one is confused about directions, he says that the sun has risen in the west.
