कुलवंति निकारहिं नारि सती। गृह आनहिं चेरि निबेरि गती॥ सुत मानहिं मातु पिता तब लौं। अबलानन दीख नहीं जब लौं॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kulavaṃti nikārahiṃ nāri satī। gṛha ānahiṃ ceri niberi gatī॥ suta mānahiṃ mātu pitā taba lauṃ। abalānana dīkha nahīṃ jaba lauṃ॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
The noble and chaste woman is cast out, and a maidservant is brought into the house. Sons honor their mother and father only as long as the face of a woman has not been seen.
