जेहि ते नीच बड़ाई पावा। सो प्रथमहिं हति ताहि नसावा॥ धूम अनल संभव सुनु भाई। तेहि बुझाव घन पदवी पाई॥ ५ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jehi te nīca baṛāī pāvā। so prathamahiṃ hati tāhi nasāvā॥ dhūma anala saṃbhava suna bhāī। tehi bujhāva ghana padavī pāī॥ 5 ॥
Meaning
The lowly one who gains greatness from someone first destroys and ruins the very one who raised him. O brother, hear: smoke born of fire, when it attains the rank of a cloud, extinguishes that same fire.
