जौं करनी समुझै प्रभु मोरी। नहिं निस्तार कलप सत कोरी॥ जन अवगुन प्रभु मान न काऊ। दीन बंधु अति मृदुल सुभाऊ॥ ३ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jauṃ karanī samujhai prabhu morī। nahiṃ nistāra kalapa sata korī॥ jana avaguna prabhu māna na kāū। dīna bandhu ati mr̥dula subhāū॥ 3 ॥
Meaning
If the Lord were to consider my deeds, then even in countless ages I could never be delivered. Yet there is hope in this: the Lord never takes account of a servant’s faults. He is the friend of the humble and is exceedingly tender in nature.
