अति प्रिय मोहि इहाँ के बासी। मम धामदा पुरी सुख रासी॥ हरषे सब कपि सुनि प्रभु बानी। धन्य अवध जो राम बखानी॥ ४ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
ati priya mohi ihāṃ ke bāsī। mama dhāmadā purī sukha rāsī॥ haraṣe saba kapi suni prabhu bānī। dhanya avadha jo rāma bakhānī॥ 4 ॥
Meaning
The inhabitants here are exceedingly dear to me. This city is a treasury of joy and the giver of my supreme abode. Hearing the Lord’s words, all the monkeys were delighted and said, ‘Blessed is Ayodhya, which Rama himself has praised.’
