Meaning
The Vedas and scriptures say that its root is the unmanifest (Prakriti); that it is beginningless in its flow; that it has four layers of bark, six trunks, twenty-five branches, countless leaves, and many flowers; that it bears two kinds of fruit, bitter and sweet; that there is a single vine depending upon it; and that new leaves and flowers keep appearing on it continually. We bow to you in the form of that world-tree (manifested in the universal form).
