सावधान मन करि पुनि संकर। लागे कहन कथा अति सुंदर॥ कपि उठाइ प्रभु हृदयँ लगावा। कर गहि परम निकट बैठावा॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sāvadhāna mana kari puni saṃkara। lāge kahana kathā ati sundara॥ kapi uṭhāi prabhu hṛdayaṃ lagāvā। kara gahi parama nikaṭa baiṭhāvā॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
Then, making his mind attentive, Shankar began to tell a most beautiful tale. The Lord lifted Hanuman, embraced him to his heart, and holding his hand seated him very close.
