आनि काठ रचु चिता बनाई। मातु अनल पुनि देहि लगाई॥ सत्य करहि मम प्रीति सयानी। सुनै को श्रवन सूल सम बानी॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

āni kāṭha rachu citā banāī। mātu anala puni dehi lagāī॥ satya karahi mama prīti sayānī। sunai ko śravana sūla sama bānī॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

Bring wood and make a funeral pyre. O Mother, then set it on fire. O wise one, make my love come true. Who can bear such words, sharp like spears, to the ears?
