उमा करत रघुपति नरलीला। खेल गरुड़ जिमि अहिगन मीला॥ भृकुटि भंग जो कालहि खाई। ताहि कि सोहइ ऐसि लराई॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
umā karata raghupati naralīlā। khela garuḍa jimi ahigana mīlā॥ bhṛkuṭi bhaṃga jo kālahi khāī। tāhi ki sohai aisi larāī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
(Shiva says:) O Uma, Rama is simply enacting a human play, just as Garuda would sport among a host of serpents. Does such a battle suit one who can devour even Death with a mere movement of the brow?
