तात सकल तव पुन्य प्रभाऊ। जीत्यों अजय निसाचर राऊ॥ सुनि सुत बचन प्रीति अति बाढ़ी। नयन सलिल रोमावलि ठाढ़ी॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
tāta sakala tava punya prabhāū। jītyoṃ ajaya nisācara rāū॥ suni suta bachana prīti ati bāṛhī। nayana salila romāvali ṭhāṛhī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
[Sri Rama said:] O father, all this is the result of your merit, for I have conquered the unconquerable king of the demons. Hearing his son’s words, his affection greatly increased. His eyes filled with tears, and the hair on his body stood on end.
