सो सिर परेउ दसानन आगें। बिकल भयउ जिमि फनि मनि त्यागें॥ धरनि धसइ धर धाव प्रचंडा। तब प्रभु काटि कीन्ह दुइ खंडा॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

so sira pareu dasānana āgẽ। bikala bhayau jimi phani mani tyāgẽ॥ dharani dhasai dhara dhāva pracaṇḍā। taba prabhu kāṭi kīnha dui khaṇḍā॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

That head fell before Ravana. Seeing it, Ravana became bewildered, like a serpent bereft of its jewel. The fierce trunk rushed on, making the earth seem to sink beneath it. Then the Lord cut it into two pieces.
