समर भूमि दसकंधर कोप्यो। बरषि बान रघुपति रथ तोप्यो॥ दंड एक रथ देखि न परेऊ। जनु निहार महुँ दिनकर दुरेऊ॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
samarabhūmi dasakaṃdhara kopyo। baraṣi bāna raghupati ratha topyo॥ \ndaṃḍa eka ratha dekhi na pareū। janu nihāra mahuṃ dinakara dureū॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
In the battlefield Ravana grew angry and showered arrows, covering Lord Raghunatha's chariot. For a moment the chariot could not be seen, as though the sun had vanished into fog.
