दसमुख देखि सिरन्ह कै बाढ़ी। बिसरा मरन भई रिस गाढ़ी॥ गर्जेउ मूढ़ महा अभिमानी। धायउ दसहु सरासन तानी॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
dasamukha dekhi siranha kai bāṛhī। bisarā marana bhaī risa gāṛhī॥ garjeu mūḍha mahā abhimānī। dhāyau dasahu sarāsana tānī॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Seeing the flood of heads, Ravana forgot death and was seized by a deep rage. The great fool, full of pride, roared and rushed forward, drawing all ten bows.
