सदा रोगबस संतत क्रोधी। बिष्नु बिमुख श्रुति संत बिरोधी॥ तनु पोषक निंदक अघ खानी। जीवत सव सम चौदह प्रानी॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
sadā rogabasa santata krodhī। biṣnu bimukha śruti santa birodhī॥ tanu poṣaka niṃdaka agha khānī। jīvata sava sama caudaha prānī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
One who is always afflicted by disease, constantly angry, opposed to Vishnu, hostile to the Vedas and the saints, one who nourishes only his own body, a slanderer, and a mine of sin—these fourteen kinds of beings are like corpses even while alive.
Context
This is Chaupai 2, Under Doha 31 from Lanka Kand, in the episode “Angada's Dialogue with Ravana”. The episode describes Angada's fearless counsel to Ravana in his court urging him to return Sita and seek Rama's refuge.
