रावन हृदयँ बिचारा भा निसिचर संघार। मैं अकेल कपि भालु बहु माया करौं अपार॥ ८८ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

rāvana hṛdayam̐ bicārā bhā nisichara saṃghāra। maiṃ akela kapi bhālu bahu māyā karauṃ apāra॥ 88 ॥

Meaning

Ravana reflected in his heart: 'The demons are being destroyed. I am alone, while the monkeys and bears are many; therefore I shall now create an immense illusion.'
