बोल्लहिं जो जय जय मुंड रुंड प्रचंड सिर बिनु धावहीं। खप्परिन्ह खग्ग अलुज्झि जुज्झहिं सुभट भटन्ह ढहावहीं॥ बानर निसाचर निकर मर्दहिं राम बल दर्पित भए। संग्राम अंगन सुभट सोवहिं राम सर निकरन्हि हए॥

Transliteration (IAST)

bollahim̐ jo jaya jaya muṇḍa ruṇḍa pracaṇḍa sira binu dhāvahīṃ। khapparinha khagga alujjhi jujjhahim̐ subhaṭa bhaṭanha ḍhahāvahīṃ॥ bānara nisācara nikara mardahim̐ rāma bala darpita bhae। saṃgrāma aṃgana subhaṭa sovahim̐ rāma sara nikaranhi hae॥

Meaning

The severed heads shout 'Victory, victory,' and the fierce trunks race about without heads. Tangled in skulls and swords, warriors fight one another and strike down brave foes. The monkeys crush the demon hordes, empowered by Rama's strength. In the battlefield, warriors lie as if asleep, struck down by Rama's arrows.
