रघुपति सर सिर कटेहुँ न मरई। बिधि बिपरीत चरित सब करई॥ मोर अभाग्य जिआवत ओही। जेहिं हौं हरि पद कमल बिछोही॥ ३ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

raghupati sara sira kaṭehuṃ na marī। bidhi biparīta carita saba karaī॥ mora abhāgya jīvata ohī। jehiṃ hauṃ hari pada kamala bichohī॥ 3 ॥

Meaning

Even when his head is cut off by Sri Raghunath’s arrows, he does not die. Fate is making all things go perversely. [Indeed,] it is my misfortune that keeps him alive, the same misfortune that has separated me from the lotus feet of the Lord.
