लागहिं सैल बज्र तन तासू। खंड खंड होइ फूटहिं आसू॥ चला न अचल रहा रथ रोपी। रन दुर्मद रावन अति कोपी॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
lāgahiṃ saila bajra tana tāsū। khaṇḍa khaṇḍa hoi phūṭahiṃ āsū॥ calā na acala rahā ratha ropī। rana durmada rāvana ati kopī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
As soon as the mountains struck his thunderbolt-like body, they burst into pieces. The fiercely enraged, battle-mad Ravan stopped his chariot and stood immovable, not moving even slightly from his place.
