जरहिं पतंग मोह बस भार बहहिं खर बृंद। ते नहिं सूर कहावहिं समुझि देखु मतिमंद॥ २९ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
jarahiṃ pataṃga moha basa bhāra bahahiṃ khara bṛnda। te nahiṃ sūra kahāvahiṃ samujhi dekhu matimanda॥ 29 ॥
Meaning
Think and see, you dimwit. Moths, under the spell of desire, burn themselves in the fire; herds of donkeys carry burdens. But for that reason they are not called heroes.
Context
