चली तमीचर अनी अपारा। बहु गज रथ पदाति असवारा॥ प्रभु सन्मुख धाए खल कैसें। सलभ समूह अनल कहँ जैसें॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
calī tamīcara anī apārā। bahu gaja ratha padāti asavārā॥ prabhu sanmukha dhāe khala kaisaiṃ। salabha samūha anala kahaṃ jaisaiṃ॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
An immense army of demons advanced, with many elephants, chariots, foot soldiers, and horsemen. How could those wicked ones stand before the Lord? They rushed toward Him like a swarm of moths toward a flame.
