भंजेउ रथ सारथी निपाता। ताहि हृदय महुँ मारेसि लाता॥ दुसरें सूत बिकल तेहि जाना। स्यंदन घालि तुरत गृह आना॥ ४ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

bhaṃjeu ratha sāraphī nipātā। tāhi hṛdaya mahuṃ māresi lātā॥ dusareṃ sūta bikal tehi jānā। syandana ghāli turata gṛha ānā॥ 4 ॥

Meaning

He smashed the chariot and struck down the charioteer, then kicked Meghnad in the chest. The other charioteer, seeing him distressed, lifted him into the chariot and quickly took him home.

Context

This is Chaupai 4, Under Doha 43 from Lanka Kand, in the episode “The War Begins”. The episode describes the great Lanka war erupting as Vanara and Rakshasa armies clash fiercely.
