बक्र उक्ति धनु बचन सर हृदय दहेउ रिपु कीस। प्रतिउत्तर सड़सिन्ह मनहुँ काढ़त भट दससीस॥ २३ (ङ) ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
vakra ukti dhanu bacana sara hṛdaya daheu ripu kīsa। pratiuttara saḍasinha manahũ kāṛhat bhaṭa dasasīsa॥ 23 (ङ) ॥
Meaning
Using the bow of sharp wit, Angada shot arrows of speech and burned up the enemy's heart. Heroic Ravana seems to be pulling those arrows out with tongs in the form of replies.
