तात जनकतनया यह सोई। धनुषजग्य जेहि कारन होई॥ पूजन गौरि सखीं लै आईं। करत प्रकासु फिरइ फुलवाईं॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
tāta janakatanayā yaha soī। dhanuṣajagya jehi kārana hoī॥ pūjana gauri sakhīṃ lai āīṃ। karata prakāsu phirai phulavāīṃ॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Father, this is that very daughter of King Janaka, for whom the bow sacrifice is being held. The maidens have brought her for the worship of Gauri. She is moving about, shining in the flower garden.
