सुखु बिदेह कर बरनि न जाई। जन्मदरिद्र मनहुँ निधि पाई॥ बिगत त्रास भइ सीय सुखारी। जनु बिधु उदयँ चकोरकुमारी॥ २ ॥

Transliteration (IAST)

sukhu videha kara barani na jāī। janmadaridra manahuṃ nidhi pāī॥ bigata trāsa bhaī sīya sukhārī। jana bu vidhu udayaṃ cakorakumārī॥ 2 ॥

Meaning

The happiness of Janak could not be described, as if a person poor from birth had found a treasure. Sita's fear vanished; she became blissful, like a female chakor bird at the rising of the moon.
