अति गहगहे बाजने बाजे। सबहिं मनोहर मंगल साजे॥ जूथ जूथ मिलि सुमुखि सुनयनीं। करहिं गान कल कोकिलबयनीं॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
ati gahagahe bājane bāje। sabahiṃ manohara maṃgala sāje॥ jūtha jūtha mili sumukhi sunayinīṃ। karahiṃ gāna kala kokilabayinīṃ॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
The instruments sounded loudly. All the beautiful auspicious decorations were made ready. Groups of graceful women with lovely faces and eyes, and voices sweet as cuckoos, joined together and sang sweetly.
