सो जनु हमरेहि माथे काढ़ा। दिन चलि गए ब्याज बड़ बाढ़ा॥ अब आनिअ ब्यवहरिआ बोली। तुरत देउँ मैं थैली खोली॥ २ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
so janu hamarehi māthe kāṛhā। dina cali gae byāja baḍa bāṛhā॥ aba ānia byavahariā bolī। turata deuṃ maiṃ thailī kholī॥ 2 ॥
Meaning
It was as if it had been written on our foreheads. Many days have passed, so the interest must have grown greatly. Now call a reckoner, and I will immediately open my bag and pay.
