कहेउ लखन मुनि सीलु तुम्हारा। को नहिं जान बिदित संसारा॥ माता पितहि उरिन भए नीकें। गुर रिनु रहा सोचु बड़ जी कें॥ १ ॥
Transliteration (IAST)
kaheu lakhana muni sīlu tumhārā। ko nahiṃ jāna bidita saṃsārā॥ mātā pitahi urina bhae nīkeṃ। guru rinu rahā socu baḍa jī keṃ॥ 1 ॥
Meaning
Lakshmana said: O sage, who does not know your nobility? It is famous throughout the world. You have already repaid the debt to your mother and father; now only the debt to your guru remains, and that weighs heavily on your heart.
